Images of Woodstock, How photographers captured the spirit of an Oxfordshire market town

 

The inaugural Art in Woodstock festival, a celebration of the visual arts, held in October, was a great success.

 

This article features the images of the some of the entries for the Photography Competition titled 'Inspried by Woodstock' and sponsored by Samsung. The theme 'Inspired by Woodstock' was chosen to stimulate interest from and to showcase local photographers, to see if there would be any 'lateral' contributions and attract interest in Woodstock, the town and Art in Woodstock, the event. The entries included images of, Blenheim Palace, Library Sheep, The local Bus and a cat! The winner's entry 'Blenheim Anlgers' was in image of fisherman on a cold misty morning at Blenheim Lakes. It was taken by professional landscape and wildlife photographer Paul Sansome.
