The pretty market town of Woodstock will play host to Art in Woodstock, a major visual arts festival from October 25th - 2nd November 2008. Showcasing work by visiting professional artists and local talents, this festival will see the whole of Woodstock transformed into a celebration of visual arts. Individual art exhibitions and installations will be held in galleries, shops, churches, resturants and other unusual spaces, and a triangular 'free expression' art wall will be erected in the town square for visitors to contribute to, creating a unique work of art reflecting Woodstock and its community.
